Chevron to move jobs to Houston

While most energy companies are considering job cuts, Chevron Corp. (NYSE: CVX) plans to bring some jobs to Houston.

The San Ramon, California-based company said Feb. 20 it will move 100 jobs from its corporate headquarters to Houston in 2015, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

However, the company’s headquarters will remain in California, the Mercury News reports, which is consistent with what CEO John Watson has said in the past.
