Orlando OKs $4M deal for new road in Lake Nona

The Orlando City Council on April 6 gave the green light to contributing $4 million into building a new entryway to Lake Nona’s planned U.S. Tennis Association complex.

The city council approved putting a $2.2 million grant from the Florida Department of Transportation’s Economic Development Transportation Project Fund on behalf of the USTA toward paying back developer Lake Nona Central LLC for a portion of the cost to design and build a new USTA Boulevard.
