Apartment developer nabs SoBro site

An apartment developer from Ohio continued its buying spree in Nashville on Monday, acquiring land in SoBro.

Lifestyle Communities paid $850,000 for 0.4 acres at 716 3rd Ave. South. The property is the next block over from the popular 3rd & Lindsley live music venue, and also near some Metro and county office buildings.

What’s most significant about this deal is that it extends the push for residential development much deeper into SoBro.
