Hopworks is first NW brewery to land B Corp. status

Portland’s Hopworks Urban Brewery is the 47th Oregon firm to earn Certified B Corporation status for its sustainable business practice.

More than 1,000 companies worldwide have earned the coveted “B Corporation” status, including dozens in Oregon. Hopworks is the first brewery in the Pacific Northwest to become a B Corporation and the seventh in the world.

The designation recognizes companies that use the “power of business to solve social and environmental problems.”
