KU Hospital kicks off construction of $280M patient tower

The University of Kansas Hospital conducted groundbreaking ceremonies Monday as construction of the new $280 million Cambridge North Patient Tower kicked off at 39th and Cambridge streets, just northeast of the existing hospital buildings.

The seven-story facility will include 92 beds and 12 operating rooms and will house two of the fastest-growing specialty areas at the hospital: neurosciences and surgical oncology.
