Lawmaker urges Obama to send drones to Jordan's military

Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-California, is calling on President Barack Obama to send unarmed Predator XP drones to Jordan for operations against Islamic State militants, according to Defense News, a move that could perhaps open the door to the sale of more drones to foreign countries.

Hunter, who met with Jordan’s King Abdullah during his visit to the United States this week, says the administration previously refused to send drones to the country.
