Lee’s Summit may hire its own commercial brokers

Lee’s Summit is considering a plan to hire an area real estate firm to identify property most suitable for future commercial development, The Lee’s Summit Journal reports.

The City Council should decide next month whether to hire CBC Real Estate Group to provide a sense of what the market is looking. That will allow the city to target new infrastructure to help in a goal of gaining a better balance of commercial and residential development.
