New data center deal means $13M for PowerSecure

A new strategic relationship means $13 million for Wake Forest-based PowerSecure (NYSE: POWR).

The company, which provides utility and energy technologies to electric utilities and their customers (including smart grid power systems), has inked a new agreement with an undisclosed data center company. The deal has PowerSecure providing its technology for two new data centers “in the western half of the United States,” orders worth $13 million.
