Subcontractors, suppliers say J.T. Turner owes them hundreds of thousands

Savannah construction subcontractors and suppliers say they are owed hundreds of thousands of dollars by J.T. Turner Construction, which announced in mid-March it was closing after almost 40 years in business.

They are questioning how Turner can close his doors while his son, Tripp, continues to operate under another Turner company name in South Carolina, reports Savannah Morning News.

Tripp Turner was, until recently, running his father’s namesake company, the paper adds.
