Surly Girl shutting down in the Short North

With no girl to run the Surly Girl Saloon, the 10-year Columbus watering hole is shutting down.

The Short North restaurant and bar at 1126 N. High St. expects to close by April 28.

Part of local restaurateur Liz Lessner’s Columbus Food League, Surly Girl shares a trio of partners – Lessner, Carmen Owens and Marcy Mays – all of whom have turned their attentions to other projects.
