Vestas upping jobs by 400 in Windsor

Wind energy in Colorado will soon see a big boost in hiring.

Vestas is planning to hire up to 400 workers at its Windsor blade plant in northern Colorado. The company has scheduled a job fair March 21 for production and production support workers at its factory, 1140 Eastman Dr.

Piper Baron, head of external communications for Vestas Americas, was quoted in the Greeley Tribune saying the expansion is due to strong demand for wind energy.
