Westar Energy: 2,260 customers remain without power

Three days after high winds knocked down power lines across many areas of south-central Kansas, about 2,260 Westar Energy customers remain without power.

The company said at about 6 a.m. Monday that most of the outages are in Reno County, where 1,856 customers are being affected. Power is out for almost 300 Sedgwick County customers and about 100 Harvey County customers.
