5 things to start the day: ManU strikes streaming deal as St. Pete strikes police HQ deal

The St. Petersburg City Council on Thursday approved a deal with Pinellas County to raise $70 million for a new police headquarters. Money would be shifted from projects the city has completed with other funds that were part of the 2008 Penny for Pinellas funds, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Projects that would be affected are $5 million in infrastructure improvements at city intersections. A new station means some steady work for the construction industry in St. Petersburg for a while.
