Akridge joins effort to develop Reston's tallest building

Richard Whealen has found itself a big name partner to develop what will be Reston’s tallest building.

Akridge and RTC Partnership LLC, led by Whealen, have formed a joint venture to construct the 330-foot-tall, 420,000-square-foot trophy class office tower at the intersection of Reston Parkway and Bowman Towne Drive, roughly eight-tenths of a mile from the planned Reston Town Center Metro station.
