Bethesda Magazine acquires Bethesda Now

Bethesda Magazine has acquired local news site Bethesda Now for an undisclosed sum, and says it will merge its resources into its own online operation, Bethesda Beat.

Bethesda Magazine publisher Steve Hull says Bethesda Now will stop publishing as a separate site.

“By combining the resources of Bethesda Now and Bethesda Beat, we will be able to substantially increase the breadth and depth of our coverage, and the size of our readership,” Bethesda Beat quotes Hill as saying.
