CoworkCafe aims to convert empty restaurants to offices during the day

After spending the better part of the last 15 years surfing coffee shops as he worked as an independent software developer — contending with spotty Wi-Fi, crowded tables and crying babies — David James figured there had to be a better way.

So he and a friend, Ramzy Azar, started brainstorming ways to bring the cafe culture to the co-working spaces that seem to be multiplying rapidly throughout the D.C. area, and CoworkCafe was born.
