Dripping Springs residents strategize how to stop proposed concrete plant

A plan to build a concrete batch plant northwest of Dripping Springs has created an uproar among some residents.

A community meeting to develop a strategy for stopping Expedition LLC from building the plant at 4998 Bell Springs Road is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday night at a nearby business — Service Dogs Inc. at 4925 Bell Springs Road.

Information about the proposed concrete batching plant was posted on Facebook by DSBabble, a community website.
