At our recent sold-out Best Real Estate Deals of the Year event, the crowd of nearly 500 people was treated to an insightful video interview with Toyota’s North American CEO Jim Lentz when the automaker took home Deal of the Year honors.

In discussing the biggest corporate relocation to hit North Texas in years with our real estate writer Candace Carlisle, Lentz described what might end up being the most tangible benefit of Toyota’s move.

“I think we surprised a few people by moving out of California…
