Energy startup wins New York Business Plan Competition

A Cornell University team won the top honor Friday at the New York Business Plan Competition, one of the largest student competitions in the Northeast.

UMA Bioseed, an energy and sustainability company started by Cornell students, received $100,000 in funding and in-kind services at the sixth annual business plan competition.
