Five big development proposals on Broward agenda

Fernbrook Florida has requested approval for 73 condo units in its Sabbia Beach project.

The 19-story building would rise at 730 N. Ocean Blvd. in Pompano Beach. The land could also have nine town homes. The developer wants the previous approval for 50 high rise units and nine town homes increased by 23 condos.

It acquired the 2.2-acre site for $10.5 million in May 2014. Pre-construction prices start in the low $900,000s.
