Former Cosmos chef tapped for Ryan Burnet's Washington Avenue restaurant

Restaurateur Ryan Burnet has teamed up with Chef Remy Pettus for his newest restaurant concept, Eastside, which will open at the edge of downtown Minneapolis in August.

Pettus has a long resume that includes stints at Cosmos in Minneapolis, Dry Creek Kitchen by Charlie Palmer in Healdsburg, Calif., and Moto Restaurant in Chicago, Ill.

Burnet, meanwhile, has a well-established track record as the owner of Burch Steak and Pizza Bar, Bar La Grassa and Barrio Tequila Bar.
