Hawaii gas prices stuck in idle after rising over the past month

Hawaii’s gas prices are stuck in neutral, which may be a good thing considering an upward trend over the past month.

Two separate tracking companies report no change in local prices over the past week.

GasBuddy.com said the average price of a gallon of regular was $3.05 on Sunday, unchanged from the previous Sunday. That was 10.4 cents a gallon higher than a month ago, but $1.076 less than a year ago when local motorists were paying more than $4 a gallon.
