Hearing starts in SEC fraud case against Laurie Bebo

After former Assisted Living Concepts Inc. CEO Laurie Bebo failed in her efforts to block a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission fraud case against her, an administrative law hearing started Monday in Milwaukee.

Bebo appeared at the hearing with her attorneys from Reinhart Boerner Van Dueren SC, Milwaukee. Also at the federal courthouse in downtown Milwaukee were four attorneys from the SEC and administrative law judge Cameron Elliot.
