Honolulu subcontractor cited for violating federal overtime laws
The U.S. Department of Labor said Monday that M.H. Electric has paid $290,588 in back wages to 65 workers after the federal agency determined that the Honolulu subcontractor violated federal wage and hour laws at 10 federally-funded construction projects awarded in Hawaii by the Hawaii Air National Guard, the Navy, the Army and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs between 2012 and 2014.
