MOSI's potential move to downtown Tampa could boost visibility, attendance

The Museum of Science and Industry could be a “really cool” addition to Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik’s mixed-use district in the works in downtown Tampa, Lightning CEO Tod Leiweke said.

Leiweke confirmed Monday that Vinik’s real estate team, Strategic Property Partners, is in talks with MOSI to move from its location near the University of South Florida to Vinik’s district.
