N.C. Gov. McCrory calls for preservation tax credit renewal in Salisbury appearance

N.C. Gov. Pat McCrory says renewing the state’s historic preservation tax credits is vital to communities small and large because they bring jobs and economic development throughout North Carolina.

He remembers attending Catawba College in the 1970s when students “didn’t come to downtown Salisbury.” Today after 40 years of redevelopment, it’s a vibrant spot for businesses and residents.
