Pewaukee manufacturer seeks loan to move 128 workers to Milwaukee

A proposed loan for Pewaukee manufacturer Hilmot LLC to move 128 jobs to Milwaukee is among three the Milwaukee Economic Development Corp. will consider this month.

An affiliate of the conveyor system manufacturer is seeking a $1.2 million loan to buy an almost 100,000-square-foot building at 11925 W. Carmen Ave. near Highway 45 on Milwaukee’s northwest side, according to an MEDC report. Hilmot would relocate its expanding operations into about 80,000 square feet. The company has 128 employees…
