Rex Energy adds wells, reduces rig count

State College-based Rex Energy Corp. has brought six wells into service, but has released a drill rig, the company announced Monday.

The company (NASDAQ:REXX) said the wells are on two pads, the four-well Powell pad and the two-well Hamilton pad, both of which are in Butler County.
