San Antonio Museum of Art director: CPS land gift a game changer for downtown institution

The San Antonio Museum of Art is receiving a significant gift that will allow the downtown institution to address its severe shortage of space.

CPS Energy’s decision to approve a resolution that will result in the donation of approximately 3.5 acres of real estate including a former operations center facility at 326 Jones Avenue to SAMA will free up critical space on the museum’s existing campus for more exhibition and education needs.
