Fairfax County earned a big win on Thursday as Northern Virginia’s transportation funding panel added three county road projects to the list of those initiatives that will receive money over the next two years.

The Northern Virginia Transportation Authority, the organization charged with allocating regional tax revenue dedicated solely to road and transit improvement, adopted a $345.9 million two-year plan that includes 21 highway and 16 mass transit projects.
