Seeing value in Louisville, Chicago-area companies prepare for significant industrial construction near airport

Two Illinois companies that plan more than 1.2 million square feet of speculative industrial warehouse space near Louisville International Airport could break ground on the first of two buildings next month.

Mark Saturno, chief operating officer and senior principal of Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.-based Molto Properties LLC, said construction could start on a roughly 620,000-square-foot warehouse at Renaissance South Business Park by March and be under roof by August or September, barring weather delays.
