Southern Season to build $6.3M warehouse facility in Mebane

Southern Season, a Chapel Hill-based gourmet food and gift retailer, confirmed that it will move forward this year on a $6.3 million warehouse at the N.C. Industrial Center in Mebane.

The 108,000-square-foot structure will bring 45 jobs and replace an Orange County facility. It has the potential to double in size, company officials said.

Southern Season is going ahead with the plans after the city of Mebane late last year approved up to $90,000 worth of incentives for the company. The new warehouse…
