Starbucks tripling size of Harbor East store

Starbucks is expanding in Harbor East.

The coffee chain will take over 3,230 square feet vacated by shuttered Latin restaurant Talara in February. The new space at 615 President St. will be triple the size of Starbucks’ current Harbor East store just a few doors down. Customers are routinely crammed in the existing space.

A “Coming Soon” sign with the Starbucks (NASDAQ: SBUX) logo has been placed in the windows of the space, located at the base of the Hilton Homewood Suites hotel.
