VA says it has money for Denver hospital

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs says that it has the funds to complete the Denver VA Medical Center, U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet’s office said Monday.

The announcement comes after concern was expressed by the Colorado’s congressional representatives that they might have difficulty convincing fellow members of Congress to vote to raise a spending cap on the project.
