Health care company signs lease to take over entire building in Sabal Park

Validus Group has signed a deal with one of its existing tenants to take over the entirety of a building in Sabal Park.

Electrostim Medical Services Inc. has signed a lease for an additional 11,825 square feet at 3504 Cragmont Drive, making it the sole occupant of the 58,000-square-foot building. EMSI, which specializes in home electrical stimulation units and accessories for management of pain and physical rehabilitation, was already in the building.

Honolulu gas prices begin going downhill

Honolulu’s gas prices began going downhill last week, averaging $3.01 for a gallon of regular on Sunday, 3.6 cents less than a week earlier, according to the website GasBuddy.com.

Honolulu motorists were paying a half-cent a gallon less than a month ago and $120.9 less than a year ago.

The local prices reflect a nationwide trend, which saw the average gas price fall 3 cents a gallon during the past week to $2.39.

An $11 million construction project in the Triad has received statewide recognition.

Shelco LLC’s Triad office was recognized late last month for its role as construction manager at-risk on the Hill Hall Renovation and Student Success Center project at Winston-Salem State University.
