Houston-based LNG co. lays out plans to export Eagle Ford shale gas to Mexico

Texas LNG has laid out its plans to take natural gas from the Eagle Ford Shale, process it at a new liquefied natural gas facility it is building at the Port of Brownsville and then export it to Mexico.

The Houston-based company submitted a pre-filing letter to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on March 9. A copy of the letter obtained by the San Antonio Business Journal reveals the company’s plans in great detail.

Crude oil tumbles $2 as Texas loses dozens more rigs

West Texas Intermediate crude oil prices fell $2 in trading March 13, finishing at $44.84 a barrel.

Laurie Cantillo is out as program director at Washington’s all-news radio station WTOP.

“The decision has been made to not renew Laurie Cantillo’s contract,” WTOP General Manager Joel Oxley wrote in a staff memo sent Friday. “The decision was reached mutually by Laurie and me.”

Cantillo took over at WTOP in 2011, replacing longtime programmer Jim Farley.

Norway-based Statoil ASA (NYSE: STO) may be pursuing a megadeal to acquire Houston-based EOG Resources Inc. (NYSE: EOG).
