Friends of Mahaulepu, a Kauai-based community group, has filed an intent to sue the planned Garden Isle dairy project being developed by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar’s investment firm, alleging violations of the federal Clean Water Act.

Vestas upping jobs by 400 in Windsor

Wind energy in Colorado will soon see a big boost in hiring.

Vestas is planning to hire up to 400 workers at its Windsor blade plant in northern Colorado. The company has scheduled a job fair March 21 for production and production support workers at its factory, 1140 Eastman Dr.

Three more LNG companies seeking a spot inside Port of Brownsville export terminal

Three more liquefied natural gas companies are seeking a spot inside a new export terminal that is planned to be built inside the Port of Brownsville.

Port of Brownsville Director & CEO Eduardo Campirano spoke to the San Antonio Business Journal about the plans.

Campirano said the port is hoping to become a hub to take natural gas from the Eagle Ford shale region and export it to Mexico or other nations where there is high demand and low supply.
