Eastland Mall heading back to the auction block

The lender who took the keys of Eastland Mall last summer has put the property back on the market.

The South Hamilton Road retail fixture is being marketed on the Central Ohio Commercial Information Exchange and through Auction.com, where a final live auction will take place March 24-26.

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank agent Benton Benalcazar said the property has a minimum price of $5 million.

“We have a number of bidders who have offered the minimum,” Benalcazar told me. “It will sell.”

An activist investor has boosted its stake in Computer Sciences Corp.

New York private equity firm Jana Partners LLC has boosted its stake in Falls Church-based Computer Sciences Corp. and says it has had talks with management about the company’s “strategic alternatives.”

The disclosure, in a regulatory filing, comes after reports by DealReporter late last week of takeover talks at CSC.

Jana Partners increased its stake in CSC by another 8.4 million shares, including options to purchase about 3.8 million shares. That boosts its stake in the company to 5.9 percent.…

Wednesday is electric vehicle car day in Salem as Drive Oregon brings five affordable electric vehicles to the steps of the state capital.

Drive Oregon will offer elected officials, staff and the public the opportunity to test drive electrical vehicles available for lease in Oregon for roughly $150 to $250 per month.

Ride & Drive will feature the EV versions of the Nissan Leaf, Chevrolet Spark, Honda Fit and Fiat 500e. A Ford Focus may be available as well.

This month startup Wildwood Bespoke moved into a temporary space inside the Halo Shoes store in the Pearl District at 938 N.W. Everett. The company launched in October and previously occupied space inside downtown’s Boys Fort.
