​Office of Hawaiian Affairs to lease former Fisherman’s Wharf site in Honolulu to Street Grindz

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs said Monday that it will lease the old Fisherman’s Wharf spot to Street Grindz, LLC, the company behind Eat the Street, Honolulu Night Market and Art after Dark, which is planning to use the location for “daily activities,” yet to be disclosed.

Street Grindz says it has been working with Mojo, a networking organization that connects landlords to restaurant tenants, investors to operators, and farmers to chefs.

Hawaiian Electric-NextEra Energy say 'no' to sale deadline extension

Hawaiian Electric Co. and Florida-based NextEra Energy Inc., which is buying the Honolulu-based utility for $4.3 billion, are urging the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission to not extend the deadline for the acquisition case, according to public documents.

Unicold Corp. has agreed to pay $197,000 in penalties assessed by the federal government and will make health and safety changes to its refrigerated food warehouse in Honolulu, ending two years of litigation.
