Lots of open space for meetings and hangout, along with a ping-pong table — those are just two of the highlights of Zizzo Group Marketing Inc.’s 3rd Ward Milwaukee office. Check out the attached slideshow to see photos of the unique office space.

BFC turns to subsidiary for $80M loan for BBX share purchase

BFC Financial Corp. didn’t have to look far to finance its purchase of BBX Capital Corp. shares: A company it has majority ownership of promised it an $80 million loan.

Fort Lauderdale-based BFC (Pink Sheets: BFCF) previously offered shareholders of Fort Lauderdale-based BBX Capital Corp. (NYSE: BBX) $20 each to purchase up to 4.77 million shares. Costing up to $95.5 million, the offering would bring BFC’s ownership of BBX from 51 percent equity to 81 percent equity.

U-Haul will open store in former Harley-Davidson plant

U-Haul plans to convert a former Harley-Davidson Inc. plant in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin into a new store offering truck and trailer rentals.

The project will bring the building back into use. It has been empty since July 2011, when Harley shut down production operations there as part of a major restructuring. Harley sold it to U-Haul for $5.25 million.

Plans by an Amherst developer to construct a nearly 70,000-square-foot distribution/warehouse center is being hailed for filling a major need.
