Holtman’s Donuts looking to open 4th location

Holtman’s Donuts is trying to find a space to open its fourth location.

Katie Willing, co-owner of the Over-the-Rhine doughnut destination with her fiance Danny Plazarin, said they are looking to grow the business. They want to open a fourth Holtman’s location, ideally by 2016.

It’s two weeks before the Texas Rangers open their season with a series against the Oakland A’s, and the club has decided to close its Uptown retail store as its lease expires at the end of March.

Phoenix real estate firm continues shopping spree with Texas grab

Steven Schwarz wants to expand his commercial real estate company’s portfolio into Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and El Paso, Texas.

Scwharz is a principal with the Phoenix-based ViaWest Group. The company has been buying industrial and commercial buildings in Arizona and has made its first purchase in El Paso.

ViaWest has bought four industrial buildings in El Paso from New York-based Sullivan Crosby Trust for $4.7 million.

Montbello industrial property sells for $6.9 million

A 153,000-square-foot industrial property in the Montbello neighborhood has sold for $6.9 million in an investment sale.

The building is located at 5000 Lima St. in the Montbello Industrial Park and is 100 percent occupied by OnTrac Shipping, an Arizona-based shipping and distribution company.

Prior to the sale, the property’s seller completed $750,000 in improvements, including a new roof, motion-sensor lighting, mechanical equipment renovations and parking lot repairs.
