Average Honolulu gas price tops $3 a gallon again

Honolulu motorists were paying an average of $3.05 for a gallon of regular gas over the weekend as prices continued to climb.

GasBuddy, which surveys 214 gas outlets in Honolulu on a daily basis, said the average price of regular climbed 9 cents a gallon in just a week and 13.2 cents a gallon in the past month. However, it’s still almost a buck a gallon less than a year ago.
