Santolina critics say they aren’t anti-development

Paul Lusk says his and others’ concerns about the proposed Santolina master-planned development southwest of Albuquerque should not be characterized as anti-development or anti-business.

Boston Housing Authority wants $30M to redevelop Roxbury site

The Boston Housing Authority has applied for a $30 million Choice Neighborhoods grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to revitalize the Whittier Street public housing development in Roxbury.

Gas processing plants spur FirstEnergy projects

FirstEnergy Corp. (NYSE: FE) is making more than $34 million in system improvements to support natural gas processing facilities in Washington County.

The company announced Monday that the biggest of the projects is a new $31 million substation in Washington County for a new gas processing plant near Burgettstown.

Beaverton real estate investment trust to go public this week

A Beaverton-based real estate investment trust is expected to go public this week with shares hitting the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday, Feb. 12.

According to a release from the company, Great Ajax Corp. will focus primarily on acquiring, investing in and managing a portfolio of mortgage loans secured by single-family residences and properties.
