Microsoft spending cuts hit Lionbridge's Q4 sales

Lionbridge Technologies Inc., a Waltham-based translation software firm, said Thursday that it generated $119.7 million in revenue in its fourth quarter, slightly lower than the same period a year ago — a result of lower spending by its largest customer, Microsoft.

The company missed analysts’ expectations for revenue of $121.3 million, but reported $6.12 million in adjusted net income — above estimates of $4.6 million for the three months that ended Dec. 31, 2014.
