BRPH wins NASA contract for launch infrastructure

NASA selected BRPH Architects & Engineers Inc. of Melbourne and Jones Edmunds & Associates Inc. of Gainesville to provide architecture and engineering services related to launch infrastructure at Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, as well as other sites worldwide.

Two five-year contracts will be awarded, one for each firm. The contract will not exceed $20 million, NASA said in a release.

Cobb to award $1M contract for park upgrades

Cobb County officials are expected Tuesday to award a contract for more than $1 million for upgrades at Nickajack Park in Mableton.

The county set aside $1.4 million for the park in a 2011 special purpose local option sales tax, reports Marietta Daily Journal.
