Downtown Wichita developers charged with 61 counts of securities fraud

Two downtown Wichita developers, Michael Elzufon and David Lundberg, have each been charged with 61 felony counts of securities fraud.

The pair operated as Real Development in Wichita and has been referred to as the “Minnesota Guys.”

City of Greensboro could fast-track megasite engineering work

The Greensboro City Council expects next month to consider spending an estimated $2.2 million on engineering work for a Randolph County site being assembled to lure an auto manufacturer.

Mayor Nancy Vaughan and City Councilman Zack Matheny said the council will consider a vote to support funding the engineering and environmental studies portion of the $22.5 million water and sewer project for the megasite at its March 3 meeting. Warehouse vacancy rate increases slightly in Albany area, despite strong demand

The vacancy rate among warehouses in the Albany, New York area increased slightly during the second half of 2014, although demand in the region’s core counties remained strong, according to a report by CBRE-Albany.

The overall vacancy rate was 8.9 percent for 63.2 million square feet of industrial space surveyed in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady counties and outlying areas.

That compares to 8.8 percent during the second half of 2013.

The Dublin Entrepreneurial Center says it will be able offer more technology training and events, including its “jelly” co-working days for solo entrepreneurs, under a request for $80,000 in additional annual support from the city.
