A fast-growing restaurant group sells more than $50 million in equity

The D.C.-based restaurant group behind fast-growing, fast-casual Cava Grill may have raised $16 million in new capital earlier this month, but a recent regulatory filing shows the sale of significantly more equity in the company.

Two Cincinnati developers are planning a new office project near Oakley Station.

The city of Cincinnati owns a 3-acre piece of land less than a half-mile from Oakley Station, a 74-acre mixed-used development in Oakley. Developers Vandercar Holdings LLC and Al Neyer plan to buy the vacant land, a remnant piece of land from the Kennedy Connector project, for the fair market value of $530,000. Honolulu gas prices stay on downward track

Gas prices continued to fall in Honolulu during the past week, according to two separate surveys.

The average price of a gallon of regular was $2.93 on Sunday, down 3 cents from a week earlier, according to GasBuddy.com, which surveys 214 retail outlets on Oahu.

That was consistent with AAA Hawaii’s Weekend Gas Watch report a few days earlier, which said the average price was $2.94 last week, also down 3 cents.

Two new tenants have signed leases to open in the forthcoming Gulch Crossing office building, an eight-story Class-A office building that will offer over 16,000 square feet of street-level retail.
