Linn Energy is shutting its Denver office, cutting 52 jobs

Linn Energy LLC, a Houston-based oil and gas company, has notified the state it will shut down its Denver office and eliminate 52 jobs as of June 15, according to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.

About 20 employees were offered the chance to relocate to another Linn office, according to CDLE. Company officials couldn’t be reached for comment late Monday.

A Milwaukee commission approved historic protections for a 131-year-old former tavern in the 3rd Ward that developers may try to tear down to build new apartments.
