JBG makes short list for GSA building swap in exchange for services

The JBG Cos. is in the running for a building swap with the General Services Administration for part of the site known as Federal Triangle South, not far from the Chevy Chase-based developer’s L’Enfant Plaza.

TIAA-CREF and Norges Bank Investment Management have inked another multimillion-dollar real estate deal in D.C. with their combined acquisition of Republic Square I for $307 million, adding to an already impressive portfolio that includes PNC Place and the Hall of the States.

One of the largest owners of government-leased real estate has added another address to its portfolio in Falls Church after the Department of Defense agreed last year to remain in the Suffolk Building for another decade.
