ListMakers: Paper mill sale marks biggest Pierce County real estate deal in 2014

The top real estate deal in 2014 in Pierce County brought the seller $368.6 million.

That sale price trampled the 2013 top transaction when $114 million bought 41,358 aces of timberland near Mount Rainier National Park.

The 2014 top deal was the purchase of the 312,000-square-foot Simpson Tacoma Kraft Paper Mill by Georgia-based RockTenn.
